Must Do’s in Liverpool

  1. Discover the Beatles Story

The legacy of the famous four, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Geogre Harrison and Ringo Starr is still as large as ever in Liverpool. The Beatles Story is your first stop to discover replica of the places they played their gigs, such as the Cavern Club. Or take a walk down to the Albert Docks where you will find their insta worth sculptures. Although there isn’t much to see at Penny Lane or Strawberry Fields, you can still get a snap next to the famous street signs.

  1. Visit the Liver Building

Liverpool is home to one of the most famous ports in the world and is now recognised as a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site. So a walk down the Pier Head and Albert Docks is a must when you’re in Liverpool. There is everything from world-class museums, art galleries, pubs and restaurants. In the summer Matou is not one to be missed, with a fabulous rooftop bar & restaurant you can sit in the sun, with a G&T in hand overlooking the famous Liver Building.

  1. Watch a Sports Game

Mention the name ‘Liverpool’ anywhere, worldwide and most definitely their first thought is football. Home to Premier League teams, Liverpool and Everton, you only have to visit during football season and you’ll hear, “are you a red?” or “are you a blue?”. There isn’t much Liverpudlians are more passionate about than their football club. It is definitely worth a visit to either a match at the stadium or even down the local pub to surround yourself in the atmosphere.  You can take a tour of both stadiums. At Anfield, you can also visit their museum, The Liverpool FC Story at the same time.

  1. The Nightlife

Liverpool is known as one of the best party destinations in the UK, bursting with variety and quality to offer. Everything from superclubs, comedy venues, dance warehouse to little local pubs where even dogs are welcome. Our favourite picks are Seel Street, Matthew Street, Concert Square, Baltic Triangle, and something a little outside of the city centre, Lark Lane.
